Orthotic Grants

CHASA – Helping Kids With Hemiplegia

The CHASA Orthotic Grant program will provide financial assistance to families who have a child with a medical need for a foot or hand brace that is not covered or not fully covered by their health benefit plans. CHASA aims to fill the gap between the cost of the brace and what your health plan will pay. To be eligible for this grant, your child must have a diagnosis of hemiplegia or hemiparesis, be 17 years old or younger, with initial onset of hemiplegia or hemiparesis before 3 years of age. More details are on the application.

If you are interested in this program, please fill out the screening application and submit. Submission of the initial screening application does not guarantee eligibility for a grant or the availability of funding for the grant program.  If chosen to continue past the initial screening application, we’ll ask you to submit financial and medical information to CHASA. Please make sure you can receive email from chasa.org. We will send a email reply to each applicant. This program is part of our mission of helping kids and families every day!
