Meet Cole

Cole

Cole was born at 35 weeks due to preeclampsia. He was sent to the NICU (Neonatal intensive care unit) at the hospital due to breathing issues and had several difficulties while he was there. What we thought were withdrawls from narcotic drugs administered in the NICU, ended up being seizures. Two months later Cole had an MRI and we discovered a stroke in the basil ganglia area of his brain. Cole started occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy when he was two months old and is learning more and more each day. Cole still has a few daily challenges and has came so far. We are extremely proud of Cole and he is our true Hero!
